My first boyfriend’s Dad used to say, ‘Do you have to live on rabbit food?’ This was a reference to my being vegetarian, but it is appropriate for how women with this common syndrome often feel about the PCOS diet being prescribed for them…
But I like chocolate
I want to enjoy my food
I can’t go without a sweet
Why should I have to miss out on the good stuff
But what can I make to spoil my visitors
I have a special occasion coming up. I want to make and take something yummy
If this sounds familiar, don’t worry. There are opinion… Scrumptious, good for you options. And no-one else need never know you’re not really pigging out or being bad!
So with a chef friend of mine, we’ve created a super chocolate mousse. In fact, this treat is a Decadent Chocolate “Pick Me Up” Mousse. It has lots of goodies in it, it’s gluten free, dairy free, low GL, with no additives. Perfect!

Now, since we’ve created this video, it’s been revealed that agave may not be very good for us after all. So, simply swap this for another natural sweetener, maybe Xylitol, and enjoy!
