Could Khloe Kardashian Be Suffering From Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Stopping Her From Having Babies?
Khloe Kardashian on ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ said recently that her infertility came down to the fact that “I don’t ovulate”. Khloe found it hard to hide her unhappiness in the short video, as she sat near her sister and new mom, Kourtney, while Kim broke her confidence and discussed Khloe’s plans for a fertility clinic. Khloe wondered why it was she who had trouble having babies.
Khloe is not alone.
90 – 95% of women who attend fertility clinics with infertility due to lack of ovulation suffer from Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, many wondering ‘why me’. This may also be the case for Khloe Kardashian.
When women with this syndrome do manage to conceive, they are at an increased risk of miscarriage and pregnancy complications such as gestational diabetes and pre-eclampsia. And rates of PCOS appear to be increasing.
Now, those with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome must do what they can to protect themselves with the correct information to enjoy a successful and safe pregnancy and birth, rather than just leaving it to chance or invasive techniques that only aid in conception, but do not address the PCOS and pregnancy complications.
